Prague Vacation with Kids

There’s nothing like a family vacation abroad especially in Prague regarded as one of the most exciting cities in Europe.

Prague is a very beautiful old city with its breathtaking architecture and history. And both adults and kids will be much impressed by that fantastic city.

If you decide to travel with kids such a quiet resort town as Karlovy Vary will meet all your needs. The town is located near Prague and it will take you only three hours to get there. There you can enjoy walking both along the nighttime embankment and in the forest breathing fresh air.

On the Petřín Hill of the Czech capital there is a beautiful park. You can take a funicular to get the park from the Mala Strana district. The park itself offers a lot of attractions which will be interesting for kids.

You can also climb the Petřín Hill observation tower, try to pass through the Mirror labyrinth called the Mirror Maze, visit the observatory and see many other exciting sites.

Nearly all the parks provide kiddie rides. On Slavic Island paddle boats are available for rent. A boat tour is one of the most favourite entertainments for kids.

You can see two-decked ships docking near the Svatopluk Čech Bridge. From their decks you can watch ships passing through the locks. You can also take a water tram ride or go to the water park. To put it in a nutshell, you can find plenty of ways to entertain your kids!
