How can you get to the Fountain? First go by metro to the “Nadrazi Holesovice” station, then take tram No 5, 12 or 15 or 25 and get off at the next stop near the Zoo.

As for us, we nearly lost our way, so let me give you a hint. As soon as you get off the tram you will see the Exhibition complex. You need to go around the building to your right and you will see the box office of the Fountain.

The performance starts daily at 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

The admission fee is 220 CZK and no booking in advance is needed.

The performance lasts 30-40 minutes and has a wide-ranging repertoire including collection of modern music, operas and classical music compositions. The Fountain also offers a spectacular show with a mixture of music, lights, fountains, fire and even a projection on water.

Besides, some of the performances include a unique spectacle of ballet or even a whole band.

The performance we attended offered only fountain and soundtracks from modern movies. Besides, there was an amazing visual effect when all lights were turned off and we could watch fabulous film projections on water wall like on a screen. It was really fantastic and unforgettable.

However, if compared the Krizik Musical Fountain to the Barcelona Musical Fountain I would give preference to the latter.

It was quite late when we returned to the hotel looking forward to our fifth day in Prague.
