Welcome dear travel fans! I've been traveling around the world for 20 years and most of my trips were to Asia. I think I am crazy about Asia since I was a child and will be happy to share this passion with you...

Barcelona offers a huge selection of shops from most expensive boutiques to shops where you can buy anything just for a couple of euros. The best shopping area is in the very centre of the city. However shopping in La Rambla might not suit you perfectly because of high prices and long queus. As for my wife she did her shopping in Passeig de Gracia Street. Along the Passeig de Gracia shopping line you will find a wide selection of shops and boutiques including a very popular Zara outlet where my wife found a lot of very cheap things.

Barcelona centre also has many large department stores and shopping centres. The most popular of them are El Corte Inglés Placa and El Corte Ingles Portal de l’Angel. The first is in Plaça Catalunya and the latter is just in a few steps away from it, inAvenida Portal de l’Àngel Street, 19-21. El Corte Inglés Placa is one of the largest department stores inSpain.

If you are going to do great shopping you can go to such outlet as La Roca Village inLa Roca del Vallès which is located about36 kilometres from Barcelona. It’s a shopping centre with more than 100 boutiques from the best brands with discounts all year round.

To get there from Barcelonayou need to take the Shopping Express bus that departs from Plaça Catalunya (Carrer de Casp, 32) three times a day (9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.) from Monday to Saturday. And from La Roca Village back toBarcelona – 3:00 p.m., 5 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The ticket is 12 Euro per person round trip. Click here to open the outlet website.

When after a long wonderful walk we returned to the hotel it was already12:00 p.m. and in a moment the second day of our tour to Barcelona started.
