Cascata del Varone

Cascata del Varone is a nature reserve located north of Riva del Garda. I can say for sure that it was one of the unforgettable destinations of our trip.

Just imagine a huge rock with a cave with water dropping down from the big hole in the ceiling. Splashes of water do not give a chance to take many photos.

The place was really magnificent. It was rather cold inside and some people came dressed in raincoats and with umbrellas. As for me I got wet but didn’t want to go out!

Besides, the cave is surrounded by a small but rather interesting botanic garden with the 5 euro entrance fee.
