The Journey: A Hiker’s Paradise

The trail to Lake Sorapis, marked as trail no. 215 leading to Rifugio Vandelli, offers a captivating journey through dense forests and alongside the imposing Cime di Malquoira. While the route does not present significant technical challenges, there are some exposed sections, making it unsuitable for those uncomfortable with heights.

As you hike, you’ll come across a metal ladder and stretches of rocky terrain, each offering its own sense of adventure. The trail culminates in a dramatic reveal of Lake Sorapis, nestled in a natural amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks.
