The star of Villa Demidoff, the Giant of the Apennines is a gigantic 14-meter-high sculpture. This half-human, half-mountain figure was created in the late 1500s by the renowned sculptor Giambologna. It symbolizes the rugged Apennines and has multiple chambers, including a fireplace that is rumored to have once blown smoke from the giant’s nostrils. Don’t miss the chance to see this masterpiece up close and explore the hidden chambers inside.
  • Cappella Buontalenti
Designed by architect Bernardo Buontalenti, this chapel has a charming hexagonal layout with a loggia. This historic building is the final resting place of the last princess of the Demidoff family. Its architectural style and serene atmosphere make it a must-see for those interested in Renaissance design.
