Getting There

By Car: Take the A22 (Autostrada del Brennero) and exit at Val Gardena / Chiusa. Follow the signs to Val Gardena, and Ortisei is about a 15-minute drive from there.

By Train: There are good IC and EC train connections from Italy, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Belgium to Bressanone, Chiusa, or Bolzano. From these stations, regular bus services are available to Ortisei.

By Air: The nearest airports are Bolzano (36 km), Innsbruck (120 km), and Verona (190 km).

For a central and convenient stay, consider the Tlusel apartments located right in the pedestrian zone. This central location provides easy access to ski lifts, bus stops, shops, and restaurants.

Best Time to Visit

While Ortisei is beautiful year-round, the pedestrian zone is particularly enchanting during the winter months when it resembles a Christmas fairy tale. However, summer offers pleasant weather and vibrant cultural events.

The pedestrian zone is compact and walkable. Everything is within easy reach, including ski lifts to Alpe di Siusi and Seceda, swimming pools, and the bus station.
