Japan felt too complicated to plan - trains, regions, temples, seasons… I was lost. Shir Zamer made it easy. She built a route that included Hiroshima’s Peace Park, a traditional tea ceremony in Kyoto, hiking in the Japanese Alps, and even a small town called Takayama that I had never heard of. Choose early morning for mountain views – At Mount Fuji and in the Japanese Alps, sunrise reveals spectacular panoramas before the crowds arrive.
Combine nature with culture – Visit canyons, forests, and waterfalls like Oirase Gorge along with ancient temples and historic landmarks.
