From the city center, take the T1 or T2 tram lines and get off at the Cascine or Paolo Uccello stops. Parco delle Cascine is a year-round destination, but spring and autumn offer the most pleasant weather for exploring. During these seasons, the park’s flora is especially vibrant, and the mild temperatures make for comfortable walking or picnicking. In the summer, it’s best to visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat.
