Getting There

  • By Car: If you are driving, follow the directions on Google Maps from major cities like Naples, Pescara, or Taranto. The caves are well signposted, making them easy to locate.
  • By Train: Take the Ferrovie del Sud-Est line from Bari Centrale station directly to Grotte di Castellana. Please check the Ferrovie del Sud-Est website for the latest timetables and ticket information.
  • By Plane: The caves are located 50 kilometers from Bari and 70 kilometers from Brindisi airports. From either airport, you will need to arrange further transportation to reach Castellana Grotte.
