Welcome dear travel fans! I've been traveling around the world for 20 years and most of my trips were to Asia. I think I am crazy about Asia since I was a child and will be happy to share this passion with you...
To my mind, it’s hardly possible to visit Barcelona and miss a flamenco dance show.
Flamenco dance show
There are a lot of flamenco dance shows in Barcelona. Of course most of them are just for tourists and as a hotel employee I talked with said, “They do not represent our culture.” To some extent he is right. But I’m sure that being in Barcelona and without visiting a flamenco dance show is like being to Venice without getting a gondola ride.
Between multiple offers we chose the Tablao Cordobes restaurant located right in the centre of La Rambla.
It is preferable to reserve the tickets. You can do it yourself through the Internet or through the hotel which draws interest for reservations and you will get a discount. They usually offer two variants such as a ticket including meal or just a glass of champagne.
Both an amazing interior style and the impressive performance full of passion are especially noteworthy. As for the dancers I saw many photos and videos of them on the Internet but that didn’t make the show less exciting for me. Besides, their constant interaction with the audience adds spice to the show.
Frankly speaking we do not have a good grasp of dance art and of flamenco in particular but we enjoyed the show. That was our last evening in Barcelona and it became a thrilling end of our wonderful vacation.
