Hotels on Lake Maggiore

On Lake Maggiore we stayed at the Europalace Hotel. Though we stayed only a night there we were more than impressed with it and it would be a pleasure to stay there again.

The hotel is located in the town of Verbania right on the shore of the lake. We didn’t order a room with the lake view but view from our balcony turned out to be magnificent. The hotel location on an amazing quiet quay and close proximity to ferry stations and to the town centre is one of its major advantages.

Lack of parking may be regarded as an insignificant disadvantage. We had to leave the car on the quay parking lot with payment on an hour basis. The rooms decorated in classical European style are quite spacious and contain comfortable beds, tables and sofas in each room.

Of course, breakfast left much to be desired but unfortunately it is quite common for most of the Italian hotels. I recommend checking the hotel rates through the following link:
