Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Visit
- Arrive Early: Starting your day at the zoo will help you avoid the midday heat and give you ample time to explore all the exhibits.
- Make a Route Map: Pick up a map at the entrance and plan your route. Start with the big hill when your group has the most energy.
- Take Breaks: There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to relax and enjoy the scenery between exhibits.
- Interact with the Staff: The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t hesitate to ask them about the animals and conservation efforts.

Visiting Tips
- Best Time to Visit: The animals are most active in the mornings. Weekdays are less crowded, and the zoo is quieter during the school year.
- Clothing: The zoo is hilly, so comfortable walking shoes are essential. While there is plenty of shade, sunscreen and a hat are recommended for sunnier areas.
- Picnic Lunch: There are picnic tables throughout the zoo, perfect for a family picnic. A snack bar and a small restaurant offering simple meals like paninis are also available.
