Welcome dear travel fans! I've been traveling around the world for 20 years and most of my trips were to Asia. I think I am crazy about Asia since I was a child and will be happy to share this passion with you...
I would like to tell you a few words about our shopping in Florence. I know many people actually like it. I really can’t understand why people waste half of their time on shopping. So, my wife and I agreed that we would spend 150 euro the first day with no objections on my part.
Part of the shops in Florence, at least those my wife was interested in, are located in Via Vincenzo Gioberti. The greater part of our shopping was done in a fashion brand OVS store. Apart from it, there is a line of small boutiques and shops along that rather long street. As compared to the old city the street itself is a less touristy place and you can meet native inhabitants of Florence and attend one of the numerous cafes and bars.
The rest of the shops including large branches of such brands as ZARA, Corneliani, Moreschi, Polini, Geox and many others are located in Via Calimala. Here you can see shops offering apparel for all tastes including office, casual, luxury and cheap.
After we returned to the hotel with a few bags and without 150 euro we went for a night walk around the city.
