Discovering the Rosarium

Upon entering the Rosarium, visitors are greeted by a stunning display of nature’s splendor. Rows of roses stretch out before them, creating a kaleidoscope of colors. Each rose variety is meticulously cared for and labeled, inviting guests to leisurely stroll and admire the diverse array of blooms.

Must-See Attractions

Grandmother’s Shed: Make sure to visit Grandmother’s Shed at the top of the garden. Here, you can meet the owner, explore her homemade jams, jellies, and honey, and learn more about the history of the Rosarium.

Art and Culture: Throughout the garden, you will discover whimsical art pieces and ancient tools that celebrate Dolomite culture. These additions add an extra layer of charm to your visit.

Tips for Tourists

To witness the garden in full bloom, plan your visit during the peak flowering season, which typically occurs from mid-June to mid-July. However, even outside of peak season, the Rosarium offers a tranquil escape amidst the verdant surroundings.

Getting There

The Botanical Garden Roseto Uhrerho is located in Bulla, a district of Ortisei in the Val Gardena valley. Visitors can reach Bulla by car, as there is a car park available. Alternatively, you can take the local bus from Ortisei (bus no. 355). The garden is accessible during the summer season of the Hotel Uhrerhof, situated at 1,500 meters above sea level.
