Located in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, Alpe di Siusi, also known as Seiser Alm, is a breathtaking expanse that covers 56 square kilometers. It is Europe’s largest high-alpine pasture and offers a unique blend of natural beauty, outdoor adventures, and cultural experiences. Whether you enjoy hiking, winter sports, or tranquil landscapes, Alpe di Siusi promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of the mountains.

Getting There

Accessing Alpe di Siusi is convenient and offers multiple options. The preferred method is by cable car from either Ortisei or Siusi. Alternatively, visitors can take a bus from Siusi or Castelrotto. Private cars are restricted, but guests staying on the plateau may have limited access during certain times.

When to Visit

Alpe di Siusi is a year-round destination, each season offering its own unique allure. In summer (early June to late October), the plateau transforms into a hiker’s paradise, adorned with colorful wildflowers and offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Winter (early December to early April) blankets the landscape in snow, inviting skiers, snowboarders, and snowshoers to revel in its wintry splendor.
