Kos Island is not only an island and coast. It’s a home to a few villages located in the middle of the island such as Zia, Pyli, Zipari and Antimachia.
The island houses vineyards, farms and numerous workshops producing various goods. After tourism the second well-developed field of activity on the island is agriculture.
You can also visit many historical monuments including ruined castles, basilicas and Asklepion which is considered to be the major historical monument of the island.
