It is a well-preserved tower that dates back to the 14th century and stands at 36 meters tall. It is the last remaining tower of the castle that once stood in the town, and it served as both a defensive structure and a symbol of power for the lord of Semur.

Visitors can climb the narrow spiral staircase to the top of the tower for panoramic views of the town and the surrounding countryside. The tower is open to visitors from April to November.
