The Van Gogh Foundation is a museum dedicated to the work of the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, located in the city of Arles, in the south of France. The museum was opened in 2014 and is housed in the Hôtel Léautaud de Donines, a 15th-century mansion that was restored for the purpose of hosting the collection.

The museum has a permanent collection of over 300 works by Van Gogh, including paintings, drawings, and letters. Many of the works on display were created during Van Gogh’s time in Arles, where he lived and worked for over a year, producing some of his most famous paintings such as “Starry Night Over the Rhone” and “The Yellow House”.

In addition to the permanent collection, the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions related to Van Gogh’s work and the artistic movements of his time. The museum aims to promote a better understanding of Van Gogh’s art and to showcase his influence on modern and contemporary art.
