Saint Catherine’s Church is a Roman Catholic church located in the charming port town of Honfleur in Normandy, France. It is a unique church as it is entirely made of wood, making it the largest wooden church in France. The church’s bell tower stands separately from the main body of the church, a feature that was intended to protect the church from the threat of fire. The tower is topped by a tall spire with a weathervane in the shape of a ship, a nod to the church’s maritime heritage.

Inside the church, visitors can admire the impressive timber framework, which is decorated with ship models, flags, and other nautical-themed objects. The church also houses a number of religious artworks, including a 17th-century altarpiece, as well as several paintings and statues.

Today, Saint Catherine’s Church is a popular tourist attraction and a beloved symbol of Honfleur’s maritime history. It is also still used as a place of worship and hosts regular religious services.
